I’m thinking huge sleepover at my apartment this weekend. Pajamas, junk food, and extremely bad movies will be an admission requirement.

You’re gonna love ‘em! I’m quite a fan of the show although I still have yet to catch up on the new episodes. You’re an amazing actress.. I can’t. Too much caffeine is bad for your health, though. Not much with me, just trying to avoid the boys as much as I can. We’re just sick of seeing each other too much, yanno.

I like you, you should come on set sometime!  Thank you, I blare your music every morning bright and early at top volume, and I think the entire crew hates me for it.  And I’ve tried to stop drinking coffee before.  It was basically a week of me lying on the floor half-asleep.

Emma was silently watching the television, switching channels so much she was afraid of breaking the remote. Nothing was on, well nothing remotely good anyway. She didn’t understand why early January was non-ratings season. Most people she knew took a couple of weeks off and therefore would more likely be at home watching the television. Her phone started vibrating and ringing so loud that she almost fell off of her chair. She noticed an old friend of hers, Nina, had texted her asking if she wanted to have lunch and coffee. Emma hadn’t seen her for a long time so of course she would go. Texting Nina back and standing up, Emma walked to her room quickly thinking of what to wear. She decided on a casual outfit; a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. Grabbing her purse and bag she headed out the door.

Getting into her car, Emma started the engine and quickly drove off as she was running a little late. Her ex-boyfriend has made her a mixtape a long time ago so she decided to put it in and listen to it. As the familiar dulcet tones of Green Day floated out of the blue speakers she had specially installed she started bobbing her head and suddenly she began to feel extremely nostalgic. Turning it off she noticed the place Nina wanted to meet her was in viewing distance she parked her car and gracefully stepped out, wind blowing behind her. “Nina” she yelled as she saw her old friend and hugged her, “I’ve missed you”.

Nina was just sliding her phone back into her purse when she heard a familiar voice.  A wide smile quickly lit her face, and she hugged her friend back tightly, with just as much enthusiasm.  ”Emma!  It’s been way too long.  You’re not allowed to avoid me anymore,” She said half-jokingly, laughing slightly as they walked up to order.  As they waited in line, Nina scanned the menu for something with lots of caffeine in it.  When her eyes locked onto ‘Winter Mocha Latte’ she knew that was definitely what she wanted.  

“How have you even been?” Nina asked, tilting her head slightly as she asked her friend the question.  She was genuinely curious.  They’d seen each other in passing over the past few months, but they were both at such a busy time in their careers that they hadn’t actually talked in ages.  Not about anything that mattered, anyway.
